Weekly Textiles & Mixed Media with MellyMade Designs

This course will offer you a chance to explore textile techniques through projects set with Melanie.

Throughout each term you will have the opportunity to explore various types of dyeing and painting, printmaking with wooden blocks and lino, stitching both by hand and with a machine, using tea bag, vlieseline, free motion machine embroidery, embelishment with beads, transfering and ecoprinting.

Each term will explore these techniques through a different project. For January-March 2024 term it will be My Favourite Things – a concertina book on a theme of your choosing.
