Weekly Tapestry Weaving with Matty Smith

This ten week course aims to support tapestry weavers in exploring new techniques or in executing a tapestry weaving project of their own design.

Matty will help each participant develop skills or a design through discussion, demonstration and sampling. You will discuss appropriate effects and choice of materials, then sample colour combinations and techniques, possibly transferring the final design to the loom for weaving.

Matty will also offer tuition in finishing and mounting techniques for the display of your final artwork.
