Watercolours and inks for beginners and improvers

In this course, you’ll explore using watercolours and inks to paint a variety of natural imagery such as pebbles, flowers, leaves, or simple landscapes. You’ll also be introduced to ways of adding texture to your paint and learn to mix different mediums like pencils, masking fluid and pen.
When: Beginning on Thursday 4 May for eight weeks, 6.30pm to 9pm (2.5 hours)
Format: In this relaxed environment you’ll be encouraged to freely explore the possibilities of paint and develop your personal style.
Materials: Materials will be provided but if you want to, you can bring your own to practise/experiment with or get advice on how to use.
Tutor: Abi has been painting and drawing since school and received training in Art and Design at degree level. She has trained as a teacher with many years of teaching experience in various fields. Watercolours and drawing are Abi’s main mediums of interest.
Cost: £200
Accessibility: The Rowan building is wheelchair friendly and has accessible facilities. Please get in touch with us to let us know if there is something you need to be able to participate in our courses.
Transport: We do not have any parking at our building. On street parking is available and free after 5pm each day. There are also regular buses on Chesterton Road just a five minute walk from Rowan.
