Tapesty Weaving Day with Matty Smith
28th October, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Suitable for those who already have a tapestry weaving practice. Not for first time beginners!
Working from your original ideas Matty will help each participant develop a design through discussion, demonstration and sampling. You will discuss appropriate techniques and choice of materials, sampling colour combinations and addressing any issues or challenges that are encountered as you weave. Matty will also offer tuition in finishing and mounting techniques for display of your final artwork.
A wonderful opportunity to weave with other weavers in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with the guidance of Matty and each other.
