Stained Glass Course with Jill Fordham

Create pretty light-catching glass artworks using the copperfoiling stained glass technique.

Copperfoiling is a way of assembling pieces of glass using copper tape and solder; a technique used in the making of tiffany lampshades.

Have fun selecting from a huge variety of vibrant coloured glass to make a colourful suncatcher.

Learn basic glass cutting, copperfoiling and soldering techniques, and a bit about designing for stained glass.

You will end the day with a vibrant piece of glass to hang or place in your window, and be uplifted by the wonderful coloured light it harnesses. Approx. size 15×15 cm

We offer themed courses; Things with Wings, Flowers & Plants, Rainbow Suncatchers, Momentos, Christmas Decorations, but really you are free to make anything you wish within the limitations of the course!
