
Puzzle Purse Letter

Step into the world of Victorian Puzzle Purse Letters, a truly special way to write letters to your loved ones this festive period. In this workshop, you’ll learn to create unique and beautiful letters with ornate envelopes, hidden compartments, and secret messages. Combining skills of origami, letter writing, illustration and drawing; it’s a chance to make your messages stand out and feel more personal and artistic.
When: Thursday 30 November, 6.30pm to 9pm (2.5 hours)
Tutor: Audrey Lee is a mixed-media painter working with ink, collage, textiles, photography, installation, and found objects. Audrey teaches at Hills Road Sixth Form College and is a workshop tutor of mixed-media art and printmaking at Rowan. (https://www.audreyleeart.com/)
Materials: All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring in any images for inspiration.
Cost: £35
Accessibility: The Rowan building is wheelchair friendly and has accessible facilities. Please get in touch with us to let us know if there is something you need to be able to participate in our courses.
Transport: We do not have any parking at our building. On street parking is available and free after 5pm each day. There are also regular buses on Chesterton Road just a five minute walk from Rowan.
All of our community evening classes continue to support and help the running of Rowan’s day-to-day activities for adults with learning disabilities.
