Printmaking and more
19th January @ 6:30 pm - 16th March @ 9:00 pm

This course looks at printmaking as an exciting and expanded form of artmaking!
Over the course of 8 weeks, novice students will be introduced to some fundamental printmaking techniques as well as having the chance to experiment with lesser-known forms of printing and image-making. From creating a seamless tessellated print, to gelli-plate photo transfer techniques, to designing a poster using collage and scan-copy-print techniques taken from zine-making and DIY culture; participants will have an opportunity to take home some beautiful printed outcomes and to take creative risks in lessons through playful experiments.
Format: Each course runs for 8 weeks, every Thursday evening, from the 19 January to the 16 March 2023. We will have one-week half-term break on Thursday 16 February. Each session will run 6.30pm – 9pm (2.5 hours).
