Painting an Iris in Watercolour

Enjoy a relaxing day painting an iris in detail. Denise will focus on paint a single iris and bud with step by step demonstrations throughout the day.
Learn the traditional pure watercolour techniques of wet on wet, dry on dry and wet on dry.
You can then apply the techniques in a detailed painting of an iris and I will give individual guidance to each participant.
You will learn how to to mix beautiful violets and greens and make colour charts for each colour.
Suitable for those with some painting experience or those who have already completed my complete beginners one day course.
A list of materials you need to bring will be provided.
You are welcome to arrive from 9.45am. Demonstrations will start at 10am and we finish at 4pm. Please bring your own lunch, there is a shop locally if you need to buy lunch. Free tea, coffee and biscuits (including gluten free) will be available all day.
The course will be held in the light and airy Wilkinson room at St John’s Church, Hills Road, Cambridge which has free parking at the rear of the Church and is a 15min walk from the railway station.
