Make your own iris folding Easter cards

This workshop will introduce you to the intricate papercraft technique of Iris Folding. In a few simple steps, you will be making your own unique Easter cards. Folding paper in a variety of colours and patterns, you will be supported to work at your own pace in a tranquil environment. The image is built up from the back, so at the end you’ll be surprised by your own beautiful finished result.
When: Thursday 6 April, 6.30pm to 9pm (2.5 hours)
Materials: All materials are provided
Tutor: Laura Kirby enjoys doing a variety of crafts and sharing her knowledge through teaching. She has recently been involved in setting up and running a community cardmaking and wellbeing group in Cambridge.
Accessibility: The workshop is perfect for all abilities. The Rowan building is wheelchair friendly and has accessible facilities. Please get in touch with us to let us know if there is something you need to be able to participate in our courses.
Transport: We do not have any parking at our building. On street parking is available and free after 5pm each day. There are also regular buses on Chesterton Road just a five minute walk from Rowan.
All of our community evening classes continue to support and help the running of Rowan’s day-to-day activities for adults with learning disabilities.
