Make your own festive wreath
30th November @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Make your own bespoke festive wreath for your door this season, using natural and traditional
materials. Or perhaps make something more unusual and quirky, (re-)using small objects & decorations of your choice.
When: Thursday 30 November, 6.30pm to 9pm (2.5 hours)
Tutor: Rebecca Lindum Greene is a multidisciplinary, socially and environmentally engaged artist. Originally trained as an illustrator, she now works across a wide variety of disciplines at Cambridge University and at Kettle’s Yard. She is known for her beautiful flower arrangements in the Kettle’s Yard house.
Materials: The basic materials for this workshop are included in the price, however feel free to bring your own greenery, dried flowers, citrus or pine cones, or any small objects you would like to include in your wreath.
Accessibility: The Rowan building is wheelchair friendly and has accessible facilities. Please get in touch with us to let us know if there is something you need to be able to participate in our courses.
Transport: We do not have any parking at our building. On street parking is available and free after 5pm each day. There are also regular buses on Chesterton Road just a five minute walk from Rowan.
All of our community evening classes continue to support and help the running of Rowan’s day-to-day activities for adults with learning disabilities.
