Glass Painting course with Jill Fordham

Join Jill and learn about how stained glass windows have been decorated with special paints for centuries, and how these techniques are also applied in a contemporary way today.

Learn how to mix up your own glass paints and have a go at traditional and contemporary glass painting techniques yourself. After experimenting, produce your own painted glass designs by the end of the day.

You will have the option to turn pieces into individual hanging ornaments, or you could plan to incorporate them into an open terarrium or stained glass piece on one of our other courses with Jill!

Please note that the maximum size of finished pieces is 20cm x 20cm.

Pieces made on this course will need to be fired in our kiln. This is a long process so will not be completed during the day. Participants will be invited to collect their pieces at a future date, this may be a number of weeks from the course date due to kiln space. We can also arrange to post pieces to you if necessary.
