
Fun Crochet for All

Evening art courses at Rowan for everyone!
Learn to love being creative and mindful through doing the craft of crochet. De-stress in a friendly space each week with a cuppa and chat with a creative tutor on hand to demonstrate and encourage in a small group.
– When: Beginning on Thursday 28 September for four weeks, 6.30pm to 9pm (2.5 hours).
– Format: Over four weeks you will gradually build up a knowledge of several different stitches and techniques. Start making simple crochet projects from the first session. Make gorgeous items including Amigurumi and take away at least 3 handmade crochet projects. With beautiful patterns and simple stitches you will be amazed at what you can achieve! Suitable for all.
– Materials: Materials will be provided. Students are encouraged to buy their own crochet hooks and yarn if they want to practice at home.
– Tutor: Laura Kirby enjoys doing a variety of crafts and sharing her knowledge through teaching. She has recently been involved in setting up and running a community cardmaking and wellbeing group in Cambridge.
– Cost: £100 per term
