Expressive Acrylics – Abstracting the landscape

If you are new to painting or looking to enhance your skills, come and join me on from for a fun, experimental, acrylic painting course.

We will learn about materials, how to mix a myriad of colours from a basic limited palette, explore different mixed media and collage techniques, and develop good sketchbook practices to help figure out what your creative voice is.

The subject we will focus on will be abstract landscapes, however the skills you learn are transferable to other more figurative styles if you so wish. This class aims to show you how to develop a long lasting creative process, use sketchbooks with intention, find your colour palette and really explore the personal, expressive side of painting which will allow you to produce art that is uniquely yours that will also resonate with others.
