Artist's StatementOpen studio 2026 Cambridge, weekends 1 & 2. I am interested in the movement of colour and light, I enjoy the atmosphere watercolour creates leaving an impression of emotion and sensation. I am inspired by simple lines and washes of colour, I also make my own inks from organic materials, homemade vinegar and metals. I offer original paintings and prints for sale and also work to commission. I also teach painting and drawing as 1 2 1 sessions in my studio and at Stapleford Johnson Hall where I run regular painting classes and welcome new painters at all levels.
