Artist's StatementOpen studio 2023 with jeweller Birgitte Bruun @ 28 radegund Road Cambridge, weekends 1 & 2. I am interested in the movement of colour and light, I enjoy the atmosphere watercolour creates leaving an impression of emotion and sensation. I am inspired by simple lines and washes of colour, I've recently started to paint in acrylic and am enjoying the textures and opacity of layering paint. I offer original paintings and prints for sale and also work to commission. Recent clients have included a French Vineyard, a Norwich firm of architects and visitors to the suffolk coast... I also teach painting and drawing at: The Fitzwilliam Museum, and Stapleford Granary where I run regular painting classes and welcome new painters at all levels.
