Artist's StatementSarah Dobson creates playful handmade jewellery in silver, with a distinctive soft, unpolished finish. Piercing is often used to create figurative, organic pieces taking inspiration from folklore, storytelling and nature. Flowers have been a recent focus of Sarah’s work as a symbol of positivity and optimism, particularly common wild flowers which she welcomes in her garden in Impington. Sarah enjoys the slow and steady process of hand-making chain, which provides a peaceful flow and results in pieces with a satisfyingly tactile feel and imbued with a little magic.

Flower Power/ Daisy Crazy
Glorious, colourful, vibrant, cheerful, life affirming blooms. A tribute to all things floral, commitment to flower power and confession of being daisy crazy.
