Artist's StatementI have been exploring the theme of Mother/Nature through clay, mixed media painting, collage, and textiles for a number of years.
I'm fascinated by trees and leaves and women's connection with the balance of nature. This focus has grown into an eclectic collection that includes abstract paintings, woven wool pieces, and ceramic bowls and vases that cross the imaginary line between what we see in both nature and the female form.
I have a passion for supporting other people to express themselves creatively too, and facilitate various workshops, retreats and community groups.

For over half my life I've combined my love of creative self-expression with studying and practicing ancient Chinese medicine. They're a natural mix as both take nature as their inspiration.
