Artist's StatementI am a batik artist and a painter, who likes to work in a range of media. Batik is my primary medium and I work with procion dyes on silk and cotton. I have travelled widely and experiences and memories from many years living abroad find their way into my work. My deep love of nature and the countryside is coming more to the fore in my work. I combine my own artistic practise with working as an Art teacher in Cambridge.
