Artist's StatementI enjoy the challenge of painting on location, the time and changing weather forcing me to simplify and stick to capturing the essentials. Some are brought home finished, but I do work on many in the studio. Sketches, drawings and photos are used as the basis for larger paintings in the studio. Regular life classes help develop my drawing and observation skills.
