Artist's StatementI design, handcraft and install solid wood kitchens and furniture using either reclaimed pine or accredited sustainable hardwoods, including the beautifully grained Oak, Ash, Elm, Sycamore, Beech woods. The grain of the wood is carefully chosen and used as an integral part of each design. I use time-tested methods of craftsmanship to create traditionally made kitchens and furniture in contemporary, innovative and traditional styles. Most of my furniture is commissioned and I work with my customers to ensure that aesthetics meet functionality with minimum environmental impact. I also make speculative pieces of furniture inspired by cities, twentieth century architecture and natural organic form.
I'm looking forward to hosting Riverside Arts group of artist makers again this year. We shall be transforming the workshop into an exhibition space again, and will be open 8/9th and 15/16th July. Easy parking, beautiful location. We look forward to seeing you!
