Artist's StatementI use oils primarily for my sea, landscape and floral paintings. I like to create paintings which show movement and energy using bold minimal brushstrokes. Taking inspiration from the natural world I love to paint crashing waves, landscapes in all seasons, especially Winter and large floral blooms which burst from the canvas. I studied at The Royal College of Art and paint every day in my garden studio.
