Artist's StatementMy work is inspired by folktales and nature, and the deeper shapes and communications that can come from a stance of waiting, trusting and listening alertly. My meditation practice over the years has increased my confidence in those whisperings and inklings that are always there when we turn towards embodied experience.

I work intuitively, often experimenting with oil pastels, wax and ink. I enjoy texture. Motifs that appear in my work are flying figures, animals, landscapes and paths through wildness.

I am an ordained buddhist, and a childrens book author and illustrator.
