Artist's StatementFreshly and responsibly picked or sketched in situ, locally available and mainly uncultivated plant life finds its way onto the pages of my sketchbook. From there images may emerge as watercolour paintings or ink drawings. Or could be incorporated into mixed media collages, used on a printing plate for a book covers or form a plant panorama. I enjoy exploring my chosen subject matter with this wide variety of media and methods. As well as here in England my work is held in private collections in Australia, Ireland, Poland, Scotland, Sweden and USA. I am actively involved with The Society of East Anglian Watercolourists, Ely Watercolour and am a member of the Association of Botanical Artists.
