Artist's Statement
Highly experimental, personal artwork using watercolour, ink, paper manipulation, plaster casting, ceramics and a wide range of self-generated techniques.

I have been interested in the human form and landscape - from ancient greek forms created by the rock itself to images which deal with the ambiguity of both.
An inscription on a monumental slab in the Norfolk church of All Saints Wighton has
initiated a series of work from the past three years. Its description generated ideas which dealt with the surrounding landscape, the journey of words through time and the loss of understanding and memory.

My exhibition will appeal to those who are searching for something non-specific and non-commercial – possibly even unattainable. I can’t promise that you will find it here, but everyone will be welcome.
