Artist's StatementMy fused and stained glass work expresses my love of the material in its purest form, which can be viewed from any angle with light as its life force. The technique of my fused glass uses a method I have developed to create my own distinct style. Each piece is unique, as the painted oxide causes the glass to bubble freely during firing.
My art training and experience in complementary therapies inspires my use of colour, shape and symbols in all my work.
Other creative interests that will be displayed are mosaic, linocut printing, moulded concrete ornaments and pyrography.
