Artist's StatementAs a jewellery designer and teacher, I find endless inspiration in the transformative nature of silver. All my designs are handmade in fine or 925 sterling silver, and occasionally gold, using traditional processes that exploit its outstanding physical, chemical, and aesthetic properties, such as texturing, forming, etching, filigree and gilding. I love the diversity of appeal offered by natural gemstones and hand-pick each stone for its unique aesthetic qualities.

I take great pleasure in working on bespoke commissions, collaborating closely with clients to create meaningful, one-of-a-kind jewellery. One of my specialisms is handcrafted pet portrait jewellery, transforming images of beloved animals into beautiful, wearable keepsakes.

I hold a Diploma in Fine Jewellery Making from the London Jewellery School and a PGCE, with 18 years of experience as a teacher. Teaching is an integral part of my practice, and I am passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge. Through my workshops and classes, I aim to empower others with the confidence and creativity to craft their own unique pieces. In addition to hands-on jewellery-making, I also offer business advice for emerging jewellers, helping them navigate the challenges of starting and growing a creative business.

I am excited to welcome visitors to my new purpose-built studio, a creative space designed to inspire and support both my own work and my students. Whether designing bespoke commissions or guiding students through their first steps at the bench, my goal is always to celebrate craftsmanship, storytelling, and the personal connection we have with the jewellery we wear.
