Artist's StatementI am a fine art painter based in Ely, specialising in oils and cold wax. My work is inspired by people, places and nature, and the history of my surroundings. I love experimenting with different styles and media. This year, my paintings and collages reflect on issues in the news; processing ideas through the use of symbolism, archiving change through the layering of imagery and the physical manipulation of materials.
