Artist's StatementI am a local artist and have for years exhibited both with Cambridge Open Studios and the Cambridge Drawing Society of which I am a member. This July I will again be sharing a Studio with my daughter, Simonetta, in a light and central setting, with a beautiful garden and refreshments for visitors.

I aim in my work to convey the atmosphere and emotions felt in different seasons, using colour harmony and some different media to my usual oils = inks, pastels, pens, collage. I walk always with a sketchbook, take photos, and compose the paintings mostly in my own studio. The process itself is thoughtful and experimental, never easy, always rewarding.
