My inspiration comes from emotion. I express this through bird, animal and human forms surrounded by plant imagery. A conversation or idea takes form and I explore and follow it. I paint in oils or acrylic paint and digitally, often layering and blending methods and processes. I love the layering and cross processing created using this method because of its fluidity, that allows flux and change as I become present and reflective in the moment. Working digitally has a different rhythm and expression to tearing paper and the physical immersion of painting so different things are said a journey begins and I follow it.
