Artist's StatementI am a textile artist who uses botanicals and natural dyes in my ecoprinting practice. I use locally sourced plants to create permanent impressions of the plants on textiles. I am able to transfer the natural pigments and tannins from the plants to create exquisite and unique prints on silk, wool, canvas and linen. My Open Studio will be showing a selection of beautifully printed artisan scarves and textiles that reveal the hidden colours, forms and textures of leaves and plants.
