Artist's StatementAll my Pots and slab vessels are hand built. I like simple well defined forms, which grow naturally out of the making process, so each piece is never the same. I like working with colour, so I use vibrant Slips and matt glazes. When painting, I build up layers on canvas, creating a textured surface, to work with mixed media of colour. My work is inspired more from technique than subject. I am a "Selected Member" of The Anglian Potters, and have exhibited widely in the UK and have work in Private Collections World-wide. I am a regular exhibitor at Cambridge Contemporary Art and The Roundhouse Gallery in Derbyshire.
