Artist's Statement

My artistic journey started as a young child, loving all kinds of textiles and mixed media. After completing a course in fashion and textiles aged 18, I went on to study for a BA Honours degree in Design Crafts in Hereford. In 1998 after graduating I was lucky to spend 2 years working for Julia Heffer. Here I learned many jewellery techniques, forging, casting, setting & more.

I have spent the last 20 years making my own designs part-time whilst raising my children. During this time I also had a small studio at Haddenham gallery & a Tea room and gift shop where I sold my jewellery along side other local crafts. I continue making my own designs and bespoke commissions, wedding & engagement rings in silver, yellow, rose & white gold & platinum.

My inspirations include nature, architecture, Roman and Egypian jewellery & I love the freedom to make just what takes my fancy on any particular day.
