Artist's StatementInspired by the beauty and delicate structures found in the natural world, Hannah creates sculptural jewellery. Working in precious metals such as silver and 18ct gold her jewellery comprises of hand-press formed and individually fabricated units combining subtle surface textures and contrasting finishes.

Hannah studied Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, and Jewellery Design at the Kent Institute of Art and Design from 1999 to 2002. Following her studies, she completed a year-long postgraduate residency at Bishopsland Workshops in Reading, where her distinctive sculptural jewellery style began to emerge. With a background in textiles, Hannah developed a deep appreciation for texture and pattern, which continues to influence her work. Through ongoing experimentation with techniques such as fusing and etching, she focuses on exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design.

With over 20 years of experience in both jewellery making and teaching, Hannah invites you to her Cambridgeshire workshop for a unique hands-on experience. Create your own bangle, a set of three stacking rings, or a pendant in a welcoming and inspiring environment. Hannah has been teaching adult silver jewellery-making classes in Cambridgeshire since 2003, later expanding to include summer school sessions for teenagers in 2004. She earned her PGCE teaching qualification in 2005 and has since built extensive experience in both adult and secondary education. A patient and knowledgeable tutor, Hannah will guide you through every step of the process—from cutting, shaping, and soldering metal to the final finishing touches. No prior experience is needed; you’ll learn all the essential skills to craft beautiful silver jewellery.

Hannah is always delighted to discuss creating individual pieces to suits clients requirements. Do get in touch if you have a piece in mind!
