Artist's StatementKaty Ellis ,a graduate from Glasgow School of art, having been awarded bursaries on completion, she traveled extensively throughout Italy, India, Nepal and Laos, observing and painting the landscape around her.
Now settled in Saffron Walden, she enjoys exploring her local landscape while out walking the dog, gathering imagery and inspiration for further work, using watercolour and mostly involving trees, mushrooms and sometimes her dog, rabbit or cats.
