Artist's StatementI use my Stephenson Blake Proofing Press and Adana 8x5 for creative letterpress printing. I make my work using handset wood and metal type and linocuts. I like playing with pattern and language and also have an interest in using science as an inspiration for some work. My work is generally cheerful and colourful. I make short run print editions and also cards, small books and ephemera.

I have a strong general interest in science. Some of my work is directly inspired by scientific research, personal experience of illness & disease and wider I have shown work locally as part of the Cambridge University Science Festival and also Cambridge Pint of Science/Creative Reactions. These works tend to be book arts or small scale installations. I enjoy making works that the audience can interact with in some way.
