Artist's StatementMy love of nature and watercolours inspire me to paint flowers, seascapes and old weather worn subjects. I find inspiration in the coast of East Anglia, the botanic gardens in Cambridge, and the Island of Mull. I use both pure and experimental watercolour techniques, sometimes combining watercolours with ink and mixed media. I have recently been painting coastal scenes on the Isle of Mull with oils and acrylics. I exhibit my paintings as a member of the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists and Cambridge Open Studios.
As a well respected artist and art teacher in Cambridge I am dedicated to helping students develop their watercolour painting and creativity through thriving watercolour classes and demonstrations.
