Artist's StatementI live and work in the Fen-edge village of Burwell, painting landscapes of the beautiful places I live and love. I paint mostly in a realism style. I find that people often feel more of a connection with a landscape painting, if it's recognisable as a place they know.
I often work to commission, and this sometimes leads me down some interesting paths - I'm as happy to take the challenge of a portrait as as I am a favourite place. In-between paintings, I like to do some lino cuts, and make hand-printed tea-towels and tableware.
