Artist's Statement

I am a printmaker interested in the representation and manipulation of space. I use balance, movement and negative space to make small areas appear expansive, balancing shape or colour with movement and asymmetry. I enjoy working with bold colours, pattern and line. Recently I have pushed my prints beyond the traditional two-dimensions through the use of multiple folds. These give the finished prints topographical qualities that can be explored from different angles.
