Artist's StatementI am an experimental artist working primarily in pen, ink and water colour. Being passionate in my aim to capture colour, line, essence and vitality of any chosen subject matter, I aim to evoke emotion through a sense of time and place. With a background in ceramics and amateur photography, my work is varied and can be very detailed due to my love of drawing; or in contrast may be spontaneous and fluid. Framed and mounted artwork is available together with cards and small gifts.
Christine is a member of the Cambridge Drawing Society, Society of East Anglian Watercolourists, and Hemingford Art Club. July 2024 will be her ninth shared Open Studio.
