Artist's StatementI'm Cathy Priestley, an artist based in Haddenham, near Ely, Cambridgeshire. My art is inspired by music, nature and the environment. I like to test the potential of various media, including paints, print and fabric. My approach is to explore different levels of abstraction in my work, with the majority being semi-abstract in nature. I am very open minded to new techniques, and enjoy trying out unfamiliar approaches and media.
