Artist's StatementMy current body of work takes inspiration from two sources:

An exploration of animal life on the River Cam influenced by First Nations art.

The landscape of the river and surrounding countryside, motivated by my appreciation of contemporary British landscape artists.


Encountering the river Cam through its animal life and landscape, I record seasonal changes in the landscape in my sketchbooks, which I then explore further on larger pieces of paper, before being completed on canvas.

My paper drawings are mixed media and my canvas paintings are predominantly acrylic.
