Artist's StatementAs an ex-Cambridge academic who used and developed ceramics for the electronics industry, I have always been fascinated by how glazes interact with the ceramic material. This process produce can random abstract images on surfaces. My hand-thrown vessels combine my ongoing exploration in this area as well as my interest in Japanese pottery.
