Artist's Statement“Clare Crouchman is a Cambridge artist who creates mixed media paintings and fine art prints for both domestic and corporate spaces. She has an MA in both Ceramics and Fine Art Printmaking. Clare has always been inspired by the natural world. Being out in the landscape quietens the mind and accesses a contemplative part of the brain where patterns and rhythms begin to emerge. Fascination for the beauty of the landscape has deepened in this way and finding order in this natural chaos is explored through abstracted, non-linear patterns. These patterns echo the richness of the natural world. Clare recently completed a commission of six large paintings for The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre. Clare has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad and has work included in private and corporate collections in the UK, Europe, America and Japan.”
