Artist's StatementWatercolour is my main love, sometimes including mixed media work with collage. My purpose is to create paintings which will lift the spirits and enhance life.
My style aims to convey the essence of subjects, usually of the natural world and I prefer to paint directly from life whenever possible.
My original painted cards are sold in my studio as well as in Cambridge Contemporary Art, Saffron Walden Gallery and in Grange Farm Barn Gallery, Hasketon.
I teach watercolour to small groups and individuals of all ages in my studio, as well as at art groups around Cambridge and run regular workshops in Grange Farm Barn.
