Artist's StatementBright, vivid colour and bold, abstracted forms feature in my paintings and works on paper. I continue to be engaged with exploring the infinite possibilities of colour and colour relationships. I use acrylic paint as this dries relatively quickly, allowing me to build up many layers of thinly poured paint, contrasting with directly applied, thicker applications. The paintings usually take about eight weeks to complete. I regularly exhibit my paintings, works on paper and prints, selling through exhibitions in galleries, online galleries and directly to buyers. I am happy to arrange studio visits by appointment, and also give quotes for commissioned work.
