Artist's StatementRoxana is an illustrator with a passion for drawing people and dogs.  After years of moving between the States and the UK, she settled in Cambridge, where she immediately fell in love with the city’s historic buildings, green spaces, and interesting inhabitants (furry or otherwise).

In 2016 Roxana graduated with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University. It is only natural that her first book, Milo and Monty, would be about dogs. Since then she has worked on a number of books including Dandy the Highway Lion, Poems for 7 Year Olds and Poems of 8 Year Olds.

Roxana works both traditionally in pen & ink and gouache and digitally. Her images are sold as cards, prints and originals, as well as, personalised commissions. She is always happy to talk through ideas to make a picture that is special and meaningful.

Come join her at Open Studios on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd weekends in July, where you can see her work and studio which will be
unusually tidy for the occasion.

When not drawing she enjoys long walks in the countryside, working in independent coffee shops, and standing at the front of gigs while singing along to all the wrong words.
